The renovation project, converting an existing storage into office space in Tokyo, is for a company specializes in customizing private-label soccer uniform and sporting goods. The idea is to conceive the interior office space as a virtual outside ‘field’, where the workers are the ‘agents’ of creative activities. The meeting and break rooms are designated and enclosed by the facade of two grid ‘edifices’. The designing method is almost analogous to ‘urban design’ approach that experimentally applied in the scale of interior design to invigorate the working environment by bringing the dynamism of Tokyo urban space inside.
