「syncbeijing」は「synctokyo」のブランチオフィスとして制作されたインスタレーション。「syncbeijing」には「synctokyo」と同じ机が並べられ、ふたつのオフィスは双方の様子をカメラとプロジェクターによって互いに映し出すことによって接続されている。さらに双方のテーブルには電話、fax、パソコン、郵便等の通信手段が準備され、それらの媒体を通して通信を行うと互いの様子が見える状況が作られる。
Syncbeijing is a satellite office of Synctokyo, conceived as a temporary installation has exactly the same office desk and arrangement as Tokyo, connected with phone, fax, FedEx and internet. When someone uses any communication medium in either office, the web-cam captures the activity to be projected on the wall in the other office.
