このレストランは、少人数の完全予約制で、

開店と同時に店のスタッフによって予約者を招き入れる。

他店とは一風異なる入店スタイルをとることから、その一連の流れを

連想させるような造りを目指した。 入口から直接ホールが見えない位置に木ブロックを積み上げて三次曲面の壁を建てた。

木ブロックと木ブロックの間にある隙間から奥のホールの状況が垣間見える。その曲面をなぞるようにホールに入り、

これから始まる食事への期待を高める。

ホール内の素材をそれぞれ際立だせながらも、要素を最小限に抑え、

食事に集中できるシンプルな空間とした。 こうして、全体の流れとしては、日本の伝統的な茶室のにじり口の思想がなぞらえられており、

何気ない空間に入る行為を顕在化させながら、非日常な空間での

食事の高揚感につながることを期待している。

 

This restaurant is by advance reservation only, and the stuff leads them into the restaurant when it opens.

We aimed to the space to remind this style since they perform an unusual way to run a restaurant. There is a cubic curve wall with many wood blocks at the entrance. You will see inside from the small interspace between each wood blocks, and follow the curvy line to the inside. It will make you raise expectations for the meal.

The material is emphasized each by itself, and We designed the space with using the minimum elements where you can concentrate for the meal. We followed an idea of the traditional Japanese miniature tearoom entrance, and tried to be emphasized the action of going inside. We aimed to it raise expectations for the meal at the unusual space.
